around high school, i made a hard pivot to what i wanted my life to look like in the future. as a kid who loved tech, i tried to use it wherever i could. that included things like school projects or assignments, which led me to learn digital creativity tools like GIMP, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, and more. after nearly a decade learning how to code, program robots, run cybersecurity excercises and design games, i realized a career in computer science wasn't for me-- what i wanted was a career in creativity.
since then, i've pushed myself in photography, filmmaking, graphic design, ux/ui design, art direction, and more. but i've maintained my influences in tech, gaming, online video and more along the way. in fall 2024, i passed a decade since trying to teach myself photoshop- the start of my journey as a digital creative- for the first time.
in those 10 years, i've learned a lot about myself as a creative, from focusing on filmmaking to graphic design to now focusing in the advertising space. it's led me to working with some of the biggest brands in the world, to being selected for film festivals, and even to founding my own company. more than anything, i've learned that my intentions for my career are simple: no matter what it is or how it's made, i'm just here to help people make cool shit.
